Bartow Civic Center
2250 South Floral Avenue: 31-acre complex public meeting rooms and stage, eight lighted tennis courts, two lighted handball courts, tennis pro shop and pavilion, olympic-size Sam Griner swimming pool (which opens June 10, 2011), beach volleyball.
The Civic Center may be rented for celebrations, special events, etc.

Carver Recreation Center

800 Oaklawn Avenue: 10-acre site recreation center with gymnasium, meeting rooms and kitchen, playground, two lighted racquetball courts, two lighted tennis courts, picnic shelter with four tables and grill.

Polk Street Community Center

1255 West Polk Street: 5.5-acre site community center building with meeting rooms and kitchen, weight room with Nautilus machines, one lighted softball field, one lighted outdoor basketball court, playground, picnic shelter with grill, restrooms.

Mosaic Park

Just north of the Bartow Civic Center: A 13-acre park featuring two-lighted baseball fields with concession stand, two lighted T-ball fields, open park with covered outdoor stage including dressing rooms and bleachers.

Mary Holland Park

Just east of the Bartow Civic Center: 116-acre park 19 picnic pavilions with grills, 69 picnic tables, four soccer fields, concession stand, two restrooms buildings, tot and youth playgrounds. Reservation fees for picnic pavilions: $30 for large pavilions and $15 for small pavilions, which includes clean-up by the city prior to use. Unreserved pavilions may be used without charge when available. Three lakes (Heron, Cardinal and Purple Martin) are interconnected. Fishing is allowed from shore, piers, and boats (no gasoline engines permitted). Youth overnight camping area at Camp Crickette. Skateboard park near south end.

Bartow Park

County Road 555 south of West Main Street: 95-acre sports complex, three girls’ softball fields, two men’s softball fields, two Pony League fields, three concession stands, two restroom buildings, one football/soccer field, two picnic pavilions with 12 picnic tables and barbecue grill, small playground, remote control car race track, and two basketball courts. All facilities are lighted.

Summerlin Park at Wilson Lake

Corner of Stuart Street and Jackson Avenue, adjacent to Bartow High School: 17-acre park, three-quarter-mile asphalt walking and jogging path, restrooms, gazebo, benches, lighting. Park is connected to Nye Jordan Park.

Ft. Blount Park

Corner of Main Street and Broadway Avenue: one-acre park, picnic tables and benches, area for community events, fountain and reflecting pool.

McLeod Park

From McLeod Street to Stuart Street at Sunset Avenue: 2.5-acre neighborhood park, half-court basketball court, small playground and two picnic tables.

Richland Manor Park

920 Bear Creek Drive: 2.5-acre neighborhood park, two tennis courts, small playground, one picnic table

Nye Jordan Park

Corner of Orange Avenue and Stuart Street: 3.5-acre park, four lighted tennis courts, basketball court, six picnic tables, three grills, playground, restrooms. Park is connected to Summerlin Park at Wilson Lake.

Bartow Golf Course

150 North Idlewood Avenue: 175-acre 18-hole municipal golf course, driving range and putting green, par 72, 6,300-yard course with enclosed pavilion with barbecue pit, pro shop, cart shop, restaurant.

Bartow Civic Plaza

200 block East Davidson Steet: one-acre landscaped park, outdoor stage and benches for community events.

Gazebo Park

Corner of Florida Avenue and Davidson Street: one-half-acre landscaped park, gazebo for community events.

Three neighborhood playgrounds:

Corner of Oaklawn Dr. and Hamilton Street;1945 Martin Luther King Blvd.; and corner of Wabash Street and Third Avenue.
